It’s been a few months since I started sharing about our participation with Heritage Sports, and I’ve been asked a lot by my peer group why we’ve switched to Heritage Sports.
So, I’ll tell you over social media like I tell my girlfriends over lunch!
HERITAGE SPORTS IS SIMPLE, and right now, simple is SO GOOD.
Each season is only five weeks, so we only have to commit to five Saturday mornings. Because practices and games are back to back, we are only there for one hour.
THAT’S IT.
Because it’s a developmental league, it’s not overly competitive, as every kid is there to learn, try something new, and have fun.
For us as parents, we can gauge our kid’s interest in a sport without a huge commitment attached to it.
That’s why we love Heritage Sports for our season of life. We get to try many sports in a fun environment with a calendar commitment that feels incredibly manageable.
Our youngest daughter is very into sports and wants to play all of them: soccer, football, basketball, hockey, you name it! If you know her, you know she’s a tiny ball of endless energy, and she wants to try everything.
She’s also the youngest of three kids, and her older sisters are in a ton of activities, so we’re in a season where our calendar is full of practices, games, rehearsals, recitals, etc. We love it, but it’s a lot.
So, for us, Heritage Sports is beyond perfect. She played soccer, then football, and now she’ll play basketball in January and February. She’s so stinkin’ excited.
