Well, THIS is a service that is hard to come by in this area but is NOW available at Towne Park Animal Care Center in Huntsville (just north of HWY 72 near Village of Providence!)
Towne Park is so excited to showcase its brand-new urgent care service to better serve four-legged patients and their owners in the area.
Urgent care hours are 8am-8pm Thursday through Saturday (yes, ALL DAY SATURDAY care, because pets get sick on Saturdays too!)
One of my first questions was how a pet owner decides to visit Towne Park’s urgent care versus an emergency vet, and their team shared that it should follow similar decision-making to humans: if it’s incredibly dire and potentially life-threatening, an emergency vet is best. If it’s something along the lines of vomiting, lacerations, skin issues, and other sick issues, Towne Park’s urgent care would likely be the best fit!
They will happily serve existing Towne Park patients as well as new patients looking for care during their urgent care hours.
They have on-site X-ray and ultrasound technology.
Towne Park has grown to three full-time veterinarians, including owner Dr. John Mark Russell as well as associates Dr. Jess Mauldin and Dr. Chelsea Bane.
