A good friend recently tipped me off to one of the best spots in Madison to grab breakfast: Ted’s Bar-B-Q.
After living here for years, I’d never dined in-person at Ted’s. It’s been right under my nose all this time, situated conveniently on HWY 20 in an attractive, large, stand-alone building, but I’d never ducked inside to see what it was all about.
After my friend shared that their breakfast is to die for, my husband and I made the easy decision to check it out.
And let me tell you: It did not disappoint.
Breakfast at Ted’s Bar-B-Q in Madison, Alabama
The pillow-like cheese biscuits are to die for, the cheesy hashbrowns are some of the best I’ve had, and the white gravy puts it over the top. Their prices are affordable (the huge plate above is the Egg Platter with Bacon and was only $5.99), ordering is easy (order at a counter and take a seat), and the seating options are plentiful (indoor, outdoor, separate group area, etc.)
I’ve also heard that to-go orders are easy to place and pick up!
We were impressed and will absolutely be back! Next time, we’ll try the pancakes!
P.S. There are three Ted’s Bar-B-Q locations in north Alabama, and our Madison location is the only one that serves breakfast. LUCKY US!
