SafeSplash is opening a brand-new SwimLabs location at Bridge Street THIS FALL (targeting mid-September for classes to begin), and it’s going to be EXCEPTIONAL for both competitive swimmers and those who are seeking traditional swim lessons.
It’ll be located on the west side of Main Event.
First, a stat that (in my opinion) can’t be shared enough: Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1–4. Sadly, it is NOT rare.
Swim lessons aren’t just for “fun”; they’re teaching your kids an actual LIFE-SAVING skill. They also teach confidence, resilience, and the ability to work through something that doesn’t come naturally at first. These are skills that extend FAR beyond the pool!
This new location will offer traditional swim lessons for toddlers, kids, teens, and adults.
This location will also utilize SwimLabs technology. Swimmers can train in a high-flow current tank while receiving 360° video analysis of their every stroke. Being able to review technique from multiple angles is a game-changer! “The stopwatch tells you WHAT, but SwimLabs tells you WHY!”
The opening of this location is perfectly timed for competitive high school swimmers aiming to make a state appearance and club swimmers seeking qualifying times to reach the next competitive level.
A few details that I would want to know if I were looking for swim lessons:
• Small-group lessons run approximately $40-$45 per class
• Private lessons run approximately $80/lesson
• SwimJams is an option, too. This is a four-day lesson pack where swimmers take four consecutive days of lessons for around $165 total
• This location will be open seven days a week
Excuse me for getting on a personal high horse about this, but swim lessons aren’t something to put off until next May, my friends. Families who start building water confidence in the fall are giving their kids MONTHS to develop a skill they’ll carry into next summer and beyond.
