South and Pine Home in Madison, Alabama
South and Pine Home is located on Main Street in Downtown Madison and is open Monday through Saturday for in-store shopping as well as socially-distant curbside pickup. If you’re making it your mission this holiday season to shop local, you’ll find a slew of what you’re looking for at South and Pine Home or their sister-store next door, Tiny Pines Children.
I recently was in the market for a small thank you gift for a neighbor and knew that I could count on South and Pine Home to find what I was looking for. (You never have to twist my arm to shop in there anyway!)
The store is visually attractive and has a very calm feel to it. I also find it very welcoming that the front door of the shop is almost always open during business hours. This little touch makes the store feel airier and inviting.
Visitors will find that there is ample space to leisurely roam with new items to discover every single time you visit. Store owner Meghann Delashaw is constantly updating her inventory to meet the needs of her customers.
I picked up a couple of delicious-smelling soaps and lotions, and the helpful employees made sure that it looked presentable for my recipient right away by packaging it well with tissue paper and a blank gift tag.
I love the idea of shopping in here for gift-giving for co-workers, friends, teachers, etc., and not only finding the right gift at an affordable price but also walking away with it wrapped and ready to go! Little time-savers like this make the holidays so much more enjoyable. Last-minute shoppers can especially benefit from this service because he or she can run in, select an item, and present it to the recipient on a moment’s notice. Easy!
Every inch of South and Pine Home is decked out for the holidays and staged impressively by Delashaw (who also offers in-home design services, but that’s another story for another day!)
For someone like me who doesn’t have a natural eye for putting together home decor, South and Pine Home makes it easy to see how to mix and match various pieces of decor. If you’re interested in adding a bit of holiday flair to an interior area of your home – whether it’s a bathroom, holiday tree, tabletop, or neglected corner – Delashaw has items all staged together and ready for you to take home now.
Guests who would rather shop online can do so as well! Browse South and Pine’s online store and either call to order and pick up curbside or order online for delivery!
Many people have their shopping lists ready for who they desire to purchase gifts for this year, and South and Pine can help you slash that list in half.
Select items on your own while browsing the store or head straight to the gift bundle area on the far right side of the store. Here guests will find a collection of items grouped together for a discounted price. Delashaw says that prices for bundles are varied to allow affordable options for guests with all kinds of budgets.
Delashaw shared that she will soon be offering options for parents who wish to have gifts for teachers delivered directly to the school, so stay tuned for information about this convenient option.
Don’t miss popping into the aforementioned Tiny Pines Children as well! Browsing these two stores back-to-back will surely help you cross a handful of names off of your shopping list this year.
P.S. Don’t forget about the amazing option of GIFT CARDS! This is undoubtedly the easiest way to support local this year. I gifted my children’s teachers South and Pine gift cards back in May as end-of-year gifts, and it was so easy. They all said that they loved them too!
South and Pine Home is located at 14 Main Street, Madison.
