The Rocket City Softball Showcase, presented by PNC Bank, is bringing an incredible lineup of powerhouse teams to Toyota Field and Charger Park, and it all begins Tuesday, February 18th. However, due to expected inclement weather in the Tennessee Valley, event officials have announced scheduling changes, and we’ve been keeping up with everything to share what you need to know.
First things first: It’s important to note that this softball showcase is a game-changer (and a huge win!) for North Alabama. This event, announced just a few months ago, brings 14 teams from 10 different conferences, including powerhouse programs from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State, along with other Alabama-based programs that are ranked as some of the best in the state, including UAH, Alabama A&M, UNA, and Jacksonville State.
This tournament is attracting thousands of visitors this week and will fuel our local economy with tourism dollars. Plus, it’s an incredible opportunity for local, young athletes to see top-tier softball players in action!
The atmosphere for the Rocket City Softball Showcase is expected to be electric! Thousands of fans with experience Toyota Field’s setup for the first time, and Madison has worked hard to ensure that visitors to our area have an excellent time!
Tickets for Tuesday, February 18 will now grant access to Tuesday’s games instead of Wednesday’s, and tickets for Wednesday and Thursday’s games can be exchanged for any other game during the event. Ticket exchanges can be done in-person at the Wicks Family Foundation Ticket Office at Toyota Field or by phone at (256) 325-1403 ext. 1.
Parking at Toyota Field can be purchased in advance for $6.75 through the Clutch app or at TrashPandasParking.com.
