18 Madison Businesses Offering Post-Ice Storm Discounts and Incentives

Whether it’s been a welcomed week of rest or the most stress-inducing, challenging week, I pray this finds you healthy, warm, and a smidge optimistic as we look toward pressing the resume button on normal routines. Good or bad, we’ll all remember this week for years to come!

We pressed pause on our content-sharing this week, but you better believe that we have a load of fun to share with you again starting Monday! In the meantime, we’d like to highlight a few ways that YOU can win AND our local businesses can win in the coming days/weeks as they get back on their feet from a pretty devastating week of revenue loss. 

Our third value as a business states that “We believe your local purchase has an impact on the greater good of the community”, so we’d like to highlight a few tangible ways to spend money locally this weekend as well as cash in on some awesome (and I mean awesome!) deals. 

Below are a few discounts, offers, and incentives for supporting local businesses in Madison this weekend. Please take a moment to read through the list below, shared with me by business owners who would so appreciate your purchase as soon as possible. 

 

• Wine and Design is offering a $10 off coupon using code ICE108 through Saturday for their in-studio classes (does not apply to Art Buzz Kids, most DIYs, or Discount Days.)

• The Furnish Co. will have its monthly sale next Saturday, January 27th from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. They will have a whopping 50% off small accessories and all remaining holiday decor. Mark your calendar!

• Beth Ryan Music Lessons is offering numerous piano and voice lesson discounts, including 10% off for veterans. Please reach out to her to learn about a variety of opportunities for children and adults interested in piano and voice.

• South and Pine Home in downtown Madison is having their “end of season” clearance sale with discounts on many items between 40-75% off (including holiday items and baby clothing/accessories!) Prices are marked on their website and in the store. Also, keep an eye out this weekend for a big workshop announcement!

• Scout Pest Control is offering an additional 10% off an initial service for anyone who mentions ALL THINGS MADISON through the end of January! This is stackable on top of any other discounts that they are currently running. (Psst: We use Scout for our pest control and mosquito control in the summer and are loyal customers. Fantastic company.)

• Clever Giraffe is a women’s clothing consignment booth within Twisted Tree, and they are running a COLOR TAG SALE now through January 31st, while inventory lasts. Discounts range from 25-50% off (but excludes seasonal jewelry and grab bags).

• Twisted Tree Vintage Market is closing their doors for good on January 31st, so most vendors are running major clearance sales on their items at this location. (Psst: Clever Giraffe will still be operating stronger than ever at University Pickers in Huntsville if you’ve enjoyed shopping her consignment boutique!)

• Filthy Gorgeous‘ Frosty & Fabulous Sale discounts the entire store by 25%! This is huge! This offer is currently available online and will begin in-store as the weather permits.

• Super Duck Car Wash will offer unlimited washes for $9.99 for your first month! (Are you kidding?! Get that snow and ice off your car!) Inquire when you arrive, and mention seeing this major promo here!

• Vintage 72 is having various store-wide sales with 40+ vendors beginning this weekend (watch their social media for opening information). Every purchase will be entered into a giveaway for a Vintage 72 sweatshirt!

• Madison Eyes is offering a $79 deal for one pair of glasses with single-vision polycarbonate lenses through March 31st.  You’ve no doubt seen that we can attest to their quick and quality service! Their in-house lab is the best!

• Lemon and Lavender is offering a 20% discount to our audience using code ALLTHINGSMADISON on their website (some exclusions apply). Customers are also welcome to mention this discount in the store (just say that you saw the 20% discount on ALL THINGS MADISON!) This discount is also applicable to The Refillery, so it’s a great time to bring in your empty containers and fill them with cleaning and bath products. This offer is valid through Sunday.

• Argento at Oakland Springs is running a “$99 application fee” special!  This apartment complex is part of an up-and-coming and truly amazing live-work-play community that feeds into Madison City Schools!

• Rocket City Window Cleaning is the pro at cleaning all things glass-related, and right now he is offering a big incentive! For a $50 flat fee, Rocket City Window Cleaning will clean three interior mirrors (i.e. two bathroom mirrors + a large living room decorative mirror or similar). This isn’t a “Windex + paper towel” situation, but Taylor uses his professional equipment to really make your mirrors sparkle! Inquire on his website, give him a phone call, or send him a message on Instagram.

• PJ’s Coffee is selling all their king cakes at a 10% discount until sold out.  Grab one before they’re gone!

• Barrio Modern Mexican Cuisine will take 10% off for those who mention hearing about this restaurant through ALL THINGS MADISON! (We’ve eaten at this brand-new restaurant twice so far, and it’s fantastic food and drinks! Highly recommend giving this one a try.)

• Valentina’s Pizzeria and Wine Bar has re-opened their doors for carry-out orders and bar-goers (though they’ll be reopening the dining room ASAP this weekend too!)

• Madison Mercantile is having its Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, January 20th from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be available as well as storewide discounts and a giveaway valued at $150! (Don’t miss stopping by the Downtown Rebel booth too!)
