Today we’re heading a few miles east of Madison to Lowe Mill in Huntsville and stopping in at Pizzelle’s Confections, one of the sweetest places in town!

If you haven’t made time to swing over to Pizzelle’s in Huntsville, it’s time to put it on your to-do list and make an intentional point to go. It’s so worth it! Not only is the menu the definition of unique, but visiting Lowe Mill and Pizzelle’s is an experience unlike any other in the area.

Pizzelle’s Confections is getting ready to celebrate its 10th anniversary (it’s owned by a fabulous team of two sisters!), and its menu of offerings only continues to get better and better.

Check out this line-up of chocolate flavors offered throughout the year! Funny names, serious ingredients! Whoa!

Valentine’s Day has become a day on the calendar where our gift-giving now commonly extends to family and friends just as much as our significant others. It’s become a day where we all generally throw around a little bit of extra love to show our adoration for others, and gifting chocolates is as classic (and appreciated!) as it gets!

Skip the big-box grocery store box of chocolates this year and get him or her something much tastier and appreciated: a curated box of limited-edition chocolates from Pizzelle’s Confections! Limited flavors include lemon & lavender and passionfruit!

In addition to Pizzelle’s regular line-up of award-winning treats, they will also offer specialty mini cakes and individual chocolates with flavors and designs specially made for Valentine’s Day gifting!

In addition to the limited-time Valentine’s Day box that fits five chocolates of your choice, Pizzelle’s also has packaging for customers who would like to gift 2, 4, 6, 12, 18, or 24 chocolates of their choice.

Is your recipient more of a brownie or cookie fan? Pizzelle’s Confections has you covered there too! They even offer a variety of ice cream flavors, and most who have visited Pizzelle’s will tell you that it’s hard to find ice cream that tops it!

While you’re grabbing those you love some sweet treats, don’t overlook their selection of Valentine cards, many of which have a vintage look and are far from the type found in the grocery store aisle.

If you’re short on time and not interested in individually selecting the chocolate flavors for the gift yourself, feel free to scoop up a pre-packaged box that’s ready to be purchased as soon as you walk in the door.

Owners Caitlin and Michelle share that Pizzelle’s signature mini cakes are the perfect way to wind down at the end of the day and enjoy this sweet treat together.

“Our Valentine-themed mini cakes are so fun to share with others,” they suggest. “Maybe take it to dinner to enjoy there are open it up at the end of the night.”

Strawberries & Cream and Tiramisu are two of their personal favorite cake flavors.

Michelle & Caitlin share that you don’t have to wait until the day before Valentine’s Day to grab your treats. For those interested in gifting chocolate, they say that any time between early February and Valentine’s Day is a great day to swing in and make your selection. For those who are interested in gifting mini cakes, brownies, or macaroons, they advise waiting up to five days prior to gifting the treats to pick them up.

Though Pizzelle’s is typically not open on Mondays and Tuesdays, it will be open through Valentine’s Day from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
