Dreamy Bride’s and Groom’s Rooms at Ivy Oaks Wedding & Event Venue

Today we’re heading north to New Market, Alabama and touring Ivy Oaks, a brand-new wedding and event venue that is now available to tour and book!

A few months ago, I spent several hours on-site with Ivy Oaks owners John and Rachel Rutledge as we toured every nook and cranny of one of North Alabama’s newest, most versatile, and stunningly beautiful wedding and event venues. No detail was overlooked by John and Rachel, who kept future brides and grooms at the forefront of their minds while creating the wedding venue of one’s dreams.

From numerous well-landscaped lawns and outdoor areas to an enclosed, large reception barn to beautiful bathrooms, a prep kitchen, and more, Ivy Oaks is a slam dunk for those looking for a gorgeous new space to do some celebrating!

A couple of areas that took my breath away in particular were the suites for the bridal parties. I’ve been a bridesmaid in many weddings, and the areas that I’ve spent time in with the bride and fellow bridal party members in the hours before the ceremony are some of my favorite memories. Having a comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space is really important, and the suites at Ivy Oaks are prepped for some unforgettable memories to be made.

The bride’s room at Ivy Oaks features a comfortable sofa, several individual upholstered chairs, a television, WiFi, plenty of mirrors, a large counter for applying makeup and using hot tools, an attractive area to hang floor-length dresses, and an outdoor covered bridal porch for additional lounging.

Rachel knows that you can never have too many electrical outlets in a space where women are getting ready and snapping photos, which is why she’s included an entire wall of outlets along the custom block counter where women may plug in their hot tools.

The hanging ladder detail provides a functional area to hang dresses but also doubles as a beautiful photo opportunity.

The bride’s room is also located just feet away from the well-appointed restrooms.

The groom’s room is one of John’s favorite areas on the entire property.

He envisions a groom enjoying the hours before his wedding spent with the men in his life that he enjoys the most, whether that’s lounging inside the comfortable, spacious suite or moving to the covered gentlemen’s patio, the bachelor pad.

The groom’s room was well thought through and designed for maximum comfort in an aesthetically pleasing space. Men will find individual areas to hang garments, store shoes, and keep items stored neatly so that there is still plenty of space to roam about.

There is also a large television, WiFi, and access to restrooms just a 15-second walk away.

Not only is Ivy Oaks a versatile, beautiful option for one’s wedding, but every detail throughout the venue was designed to ensure a happy experience from the moment you turn onto the property.
