Whether you’re planning a girls’ weekend in Madison, are shopping for a loved one who values eco-friendly products, or love exploring quaint downtown areas, this retail store in historic downtown Madison is an absolute must-visit spot!
Here’s a look at a recent fall break shopping haul at Lemon and Lavender I took my three daughters on recently. We did all of this for under $130 and left with items that are practical, high quality, and mega desired!
We started with Makeup Erasers (I’ve used these for about six years, and they’re magic. I add water or micellar water, and the makeup melts off!). My older girls love them too and rely on them to remove their makeup, so we frequently need to refresh our stash! We grabbed the singles this time.
I also grabbed a Salted Caramel Honeycrisp Wood Wick soy candle because I love burning a candle next to the stove while I cook dinner (something I learned from my husband’s grandmother). These candles are made with 100% American-grown soy wax, premium fragrances, and essential oils, and I love the little crackling sound the candle sometimes makes! The amber jars are so pretty, and if you click here, you’ll see how many scents they have.
Next up: hair detangler! My oldest daughter received a bottle of this for her birthday last year, and she’s been dying to restock it because it’s become her new favorite brand, available only at Lemon and Lavender!
My youngest daughter picked out a toy for our cat and enjoyed browsing all of the pet items!
For myself, I scooped up a new bag of Piper & Leaf’s strawberry tea, and it’s wonderful! Truly, happiness in a cup for me.
We saved The Refillery for last and enjoyed filling up our hand soap dispensers! I have been working on slowly swapping out our plastic hand soaps for beautiful glass jars, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed the hand soap options from Lemon and Lavender. The process is so easy, and it’s fun to involve our girls.
You can see more about the process of using The Refillery in our short video reel here!
If you’re looking for another excuse to visit Lemon and Lavender, mark your calendar for their annual Merry & Mindful Market that’s happening on November 8th and 9th right there in their downtown Madison shop.
You’ll enjoy all kinds of festive fun, from garlands made with dried oranges and cinnamon sticks, to upcycled ornaments, complementary refreshments, special offers, and giveaways too!
If you’re craving a slow, feel-good retail outing, make a stop in. I hope you leave with a bag full of things you are so glad you found!
