Besides our suitcases, we barely had to pack a thing for the beach. With three kids, that is CRAZY!

The weather ended up being pretty rainy most of the weekend, but honestly, it forced us to slow down in a good way. We spent hours hanging out on the porch and squeezing in beach and pool time between rain showers. 

We even got to go on a Live Well 30A pontoon ride, complete with a cooler full of drinks and a giant lily pad out on the water. Watching even the grandparents climb onto the lily pad was fantastic.

Because of the drizzly weather, we only got dressed up for one “nice” dinner out, but it ended up being such a good one at Old Florida Fish House. The atmosphere, the food, the whole experience: truly a 10/10.

One of the best parts of all was packing up to leave and NOT having a sandy car! We left the bikes, beach chairs (all seven of them), umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, and sand toys at the house instead of cramming them into the car to take home.
