Just Love Coffee Cafe is working hard to swing open its Madison location’s doors soon, and those who have visited the new Huntsville located on Memorial Parkway know that our community is in for a fantastic addition via this cafe.
I recently had the opportunity to catch up Travis Duehring, local owner of both locations, to catch a vision of what to expect from this new location. Admittedly I was prepared to learn the ins and outs of their coffee and food menus alike, but what I discovered is that there are so many more reasons to look forward to Just Love.

Just Love Coffee Cafe in Madison, Alabama
Just Love Coffee Cafe is under construction in Hughes Plaza on Hughes Road across the street from City Hall. Located directly left of the breezeway and right of the former Hartlex Antique Mall, Just Love will boast 30% more space than the Huntsville location.
[Author note]: The Huntsville location is sizable, comfortable, and very attractive, so to hear that our Madison location will be even larger is an exciting vision.
In addition to a long, seated coffee bar and many tables throughout the cafe, there will also be a corner conference-type area where groups can pull a curtain and retreat to discuss their agenda.
Duehring also shared that customers can look forward to coming in and getting comfortable with a good book, compliments of the cafe.
“My wife is really passionate about books, so she’s currently working hard to gather a great collection. We aren’t going ‘full library’ in here, but we’ll hopefully have this place covered with reading options for kids and adults.”
Parents will be happy to hear that Duehring hopes to include a small children’s activity center centrally-located in the store so that parents will be able to keep eyes on their children while also unwinding with a friend over a meal or a cup of coffee.
“Sometimes moms just need to have a place that they can bring their children and grab some coffee with a friend.” (AMEN TO THAT!)
If tasty food is what you’re looking for, Just Love will be eager to serve you breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hours in the ballpark of 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. nearly all week long.
“We cook all of our food on a waffle iron, so it’s really unique. Everything is also always fresh and made-to-order.”
Just Love’s lengthy food menu includes savory breakfast items, artisan waffles, wraps, sandwiches, salads, “lite bites”, desserts, a kids’ menu, and more.
Beverage options include signature lattes, drip coffees, traditional expressos, cold brews, teas, and more.
“We love the location and look forward to being close to downtown, close to various rescue missions, and just being in Madison. Madison is our family’s home, so we’re looking forward to sharing this with the people we do life with.”
Serving More than Coffee
Just Love Coffee Cafe desires to serve much more than food and drink though; It desires to serve our community in big ways.
Born in 2010 from a passion to help families fund expensive adoptions, Just Love now has close to 30 locations across the U.S., with most here in the south.
“The original owner decided to sell hand-roasted coffee beans as a way of helping local families finance their adoptions, and the company just boomed from there. Eventually, people started coming in asking for a cup of coffee when they were picking up their beans, and one thing led to another and it turned into a full cafe,” says Duehring.
Duehring shared that Just Love enjoys hosting “Cause Coffees” where a portion of their proceeds goes back into the community to support various initiatives.
“A lot of what we do here directly supports our community. Our local stores and our roasters all give back. If you’re going to get a cup of coffee anyway, why not help a brother or sister out? We try to make it easy to do that.”
