When Just Breathe Massage Therapy owner Denise Sosnowski shared with me that they are now offering a Cold Stone Sinus Relief Massage, I booked an appointment for my husband immediately. He has been suffering from chronic sinusitis for years, and we are always open to trying new things that will give him a little bit of relief, especially during allergy season.
Just Breathe’s booking system is so ridiculously easy, and I’m thankful! I was able to log onto their website, see the earliest available slots, and then text a few dates/times to my husband. Thankfully they had a slot just a couple of days out, and he was counting down the hours until this appointment.
When his appointment was over, he got in the car and texted me “That was amazing” and “I can’t wait to tell you about it.”
In a nutshell, he said it may have been the single most effective remedy for instant sinus relief (I was FLOORED). He started to share all about why it was so effective, but instead, I asked if he’d type it out so I could share it with you.
Here is, word for word, what he emailed to me!
“Here are the things I loved about my sinus massage.
1. The masseuse (Amber) took the time upfront to ask me about what specific sinus issues I was having and in what areas I was currently experiencing pain.
2. She walked me through exactly what she was going to be doing, including what oils/scents she was going to be using so I had full knowledge of what I would be experiencing.
3. Her choice of eucalyptus and peppermint was chosen specifically to open up my sinuses and provide an immediate level of relief.
4. Each movement she did focused on releasing not only the built-up tension in the sinuses but additional stress areas above the chest (jaw, shoulders, temples, neck).
5. The cold stones were surprisingly refreshing and relieving. They alleviated the pressure on my sinus cavities and helped open up my nasal passages.
Overall, this was a very different massage than what I’m used to having. I never once drifted off to sleep, but I feel like every single movement helped me to concentrate on opening up my breathing and removing built-up pressure. I would 100% do it again in the future.”
Did you know that when you book a 60-minute or 90-minute massage at Just Breathe, that means that you’re booking that amount of time for hands-on massage time? You’ll have a short consultation ahead of time (if needed) which does not take away from your massage time.
A BOOKING-RELATED TIP FROM ME: When booking a massage for someone else as a gift, you must make them their own account. Just Breathe requires that the appointment be made in the name of the person receiving the massage. If you would like to pay for the massage for them, it is suggested that you buy them a e-gift certificate to use. The card used to book the appointment only holds the appointment, but payment will be due once the massage is over, and the card on file must be physically present to be charged. This is why it is suggested that you purchase a e-gift certificate online for your loved one instead of booking the appointment for them. Hope this makes sense (I had to learn this for myself too!)
