Ashleigh McMullen, the daughter-in-law of the founder, shared that the huge, celebratory event will take place from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the nursery’s property. Community members are invited to come out for Easter egg hunts for kids that will include cash prizes in 20 eggs!

The Easter bunny will be on-site for complimentary pictures, and there will be individually wrapped sweet treats galore. A food truck will be on-site as well for lunchtime options.

McMullen hopes that guests feel a general sense of community and pride as the McMullen family honors her father-in-law and celebrates all of their employees for 20 outstanding years.

About Indian Creek Wholesale Nursery in Madison, Alabama

The idea to create Indian Creek Wholesale Nursery stemmed from a need for good quality plant material in our area.

Indian Creek Wholesale Nursery in Madison, Alabama first began in the same location where they can be found today. They pride themselves on being a family-owned, local company that works hard to provide the best of the best to Madison and surrounding areas.

Ashleigh McMullen shared that Randy was doing landscaping at the time and decided to solve his own problem when it came to finding the quality plant material that he needed.

Though Indian Creek Nursery originally began as a business that primarily sold wholesale to contractors, they opened a huge retail component 10 years ago and have loved serving the community this way.

When asked why someone should choose to shop with their nursery versus a big box store, McMullen shared that their “landscape design program, the quality of our plant material, and our customer service are all second to none.”

Here are five additional reasons to explore and shop from Indian Creek Wholesale Nursery this spring.

  1. They guarantee a personalized experience.

“You aren’t going to wander around here and look at a bunch of confusing signs,” shared Ashleigh. “We have a variety of expertise and are committed to helping each customer find exactly what they’re looking for.”

2. They offer a landscape design program, including hardscaping.

Ashleigh says that they offer all kinds of landscape design and can install it all at your home as well. Her brother-in-law specializes in hardscape design (i.e. patios, pergolas, etc.) and though they do not offer hardscape install, they will refer their customers to contractors who will make Indian Creek’s designs come to life.

3. They offer everything from 15′ trees to annual flowers.

Indian Creek Nursery has over six acres of plant material available for sale. Ashleigh says that the odds are high that they offer what you’re looking for.

4. Guests can bring in a picture of the front of the home, and a team will help to hand-select the best products to take home.

Bonus points: They will load up your purchases in your vehicle or deliver them straight to your home!

5. They are very selective with where they source their material from.

While a good chunk of their products are grown on-site, the majority is sourced from growers out of state.

“We are very particular about what we buy and will travel all over to make sure that we visit these growers in person to see what we’re going to get.”
