There’s another new boutique fitness concept coming to Madison and opening soon, this time in the Clift Farm development.

HOTWORX in Madison, Alabama | This fitness studio will feature eight small saunas that offer virtual instruction. Normally each sauna allows three participants at a time, but when the studio opens only one or two people will be allowed in each sauna at a time.

HOTWORX local manager Claire Broussard says that this concept is “something very new and different” for this area and can’t wait for community members to learn more about it.

Broussard shared that this fitness studio will feature eight small saunas that offer virtual instruction. Normally each sauna allows three participants at a time, but when the studio opens only one or two people will be allowed in each sauna at a time.

Workouts will be either 15 minutes or 30 minutes, depending on the type of workout.

Broussard says that the idea is “more workout but less time.”

“The infrared heat detoxifies your body, reduces cellulite, is good for weight loss, and increases calorie burn.”

Class styles include isometric and HIIT and Broussard says that often guests like to do one 15 minute class followed by a 30-minute class to get in a “really quick, really effective” workout.

HOTWORX will be open 24 hours a day, allowing even more flexibility for guests to come at a time that best suits their schedule.

“Even during the hours that HOTWORX is staffed, there’s no official check-in.”

Broussard shared that guests will use an app to select their sauna and class time and then head straight for their assigned sauna upon arrival.

“You pick your sauna based on time and class and then the app shows available slots. It’s a very independent process.”

Something unique about this boutique fitness concept is that there is no financial penalty if you cancel your class ahead of time.

HIIT classes include cycling and blast while Isometric classes include yoga, pilates, barre, and more.
