Breaking Down 5 Hospitality Options at Toyota Field this Baseball Season

Hospitality Options at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama: These private hospitality areas at the Trash Pandas stadium for groups of 10 people up to several under people!

One of the best nights of our summer last year was when my family reserved three tables within Wayne’s Picnic Patio at Toyota Field and held a joint celebration for our youngest daughter’s 2nd birthday and my brother’s 30th birthday.

18 family members between the ages of 2 and 82 came together from Madison, Birmingham, and Chicago to eat, drink, laugh, and watch some Trash Pandas baseball. The birthday boy and girl even received a personalized shout-out on the video board right before the National Anthem.

Though we were all different ages with different interests and lived in different places, every single person immensely enjoyed the evening from start to finish. The patio tables lent themselves to easy conversation, while the placement of Wayne’s Picnic Patio was perfect for still paying attention to the happenings of the game.

{Participating in the “Simba Cam”!}

It was an event we will all fondly remember for years to come thanks to the Trash Pandas hospitality employee who took my frazzled phone call and pointed me in the right direction of how to best enjoy a celebratory night at the ballpark with our family.

Many believe that their only option for enjoying a game at Toyota Field is to simply purchase regular-seat tickets or that the hospitality group areas are “just” for corporate organizations or big parties.

This is simply not the case though. Hospitality options at Toyota Field are just that: areas where the level of hospitality you receive is a bit elevated and your experience at the ballpark is a bit more elevated and personal to the group you’re bringing. Though corporate organizations are more than welcome to reserve hospitality areas for their groups’ needs, these areas are also available to those who are looking to increase their experience at the ballpark and spread out a bit with family and friends.

With the first pitch less than three months away, the time is now to chat with the Trash Pandas and reserve a hospitality area for the 2022 Trash Pandas baseball season. As you read through the descriptions of the five hospitality options at Toyota Field, keep in mind what happenings are on your radar this spring and summer and who you’d love to enjoy a game within one of these areas.

On the main concourse, there are two hospitality options at Toyota Field for groups: Wayne’s Picnic Patio (as aforementioned) and the SAIC Concourse Suite. Both of these areas come with perks for the organizer/person who books!

Wayne’s Picnic Patio

Wayne’s Picnic Patio is outside, uncovered, and situated just past third base. Reserve as many tables as you’d like (from 1 table to 52 tables!) and then invite six people to join you per table that you’ve reserved.

Each person will receive a wristband, which grants him or her access to the 2.5-hour all-you-can-eat food buffet. Wristbands also include unlimited Pepsi products. Alcoholic beverages are an additional cost.

Personal opinion: This area is absolutely perfect for those who want to attend a game with family and friends and know that they’ll want to socialize. Adults and kids are able to get up and walk around without worrying that they’re in the way of someone trying to watch the game. The buffet makes mealtime a cinch and allows you to skip the restaurant lines. The ticket is also an “all in one” price, meaning that you know upfront how much it’ll cost for the game plus food, and then you simply enjoy it! So easy, such a great opportunity, so necessary to BOOK!

Psst: It’s also about two steps from the kids’ playground area, which makes this even more of an obvious choice for families bringing wiggly little ones to the ballfield!

SAIC Concourse Suite

I enjoyed this area last year with a group and had the absolute best time; We all did! There are two of these suites, and both are outside, but conveniently covered (it rained during the game we attended, so being in this open-air, covered area was absolutely wonderful.)

These suites are located on the main concourse level along the third-base line toward home plate. Guests will have convenient access to all food and beverage options nearby, though purchases are not necessary due to access to the 2.5-hour all-you-can-eat buffet that’s included in the ticket price for suite attendees. Each suite holds up to 35 people and includes high-top tables, bar stools, and a counter with stools to pull up and watch the game while eating, drinking, and enjoying the company of friends.

Personal opinion: This space is unique in that you feel a part of the crowd but also separate enough that you can enjoy a little bit of space from strangers. The food and beverage options are served right there in your suite, making this an ideal option for celebrations and gatherings of all kinds. It quite simply takes the guesswork out of everything. You pay, you show up, you enjoy. Easy peasy!

Top Level Suite Options

There are three hospitality options on the top suite level of the stadium, and each one of them is a stunner! Guests of all three of these hospitality options are invited to use the VIP entrance, avoiding the occasional long lines to enter the park. Guests are also invited to check into their suites up to 90 minutes before each game, which is a full half-hour before regular-seat attendees. (Psst: This means that you’ll be sure to snag items such as bobbleheads, wine glasses, and t-shirts that are given away by sponsors of the game during themed nights!)

Wicks Family Party Deck

This open-air, top-level, covered area is absolutely where the party is!

Enjoy unmatched views of the ballpark, Town Madison, and I-565 with 90 of your closest friends, family, or co-workers. Ample tables and chairs will be set up for max comfort, or grab one of many classic stadium seats that are located within the party deck. All guests will be invited to enjoy the complimentary 2.5-hour all-you-can-eat dinner buffet and Pepsi products.

Interested in the carving station, a cocktail, or simply just some time inside the air conditioning? All guests on the suite level are invited to the SportsMed Stadium Club where additional food and a full bar are open for purchase. Enjoy leather seating and an expansive area with floor-to-ceiling windows for some of the most enjoyable baseball watching in the stadium.

You’re about to knock your guests’ socks off with this reservation! This expansive double suite holds up to 40 people comfortably and includes a gorgeous, private indoor room as well as a full patio right behind home plate to spread out to and enjoy.

Personal opinion:  I’m ready to book this suite, like, yesterday. Walking through it blew my mind. My advice is to finish reading this article, send a text to your friend group, and get this baby BOOKED. Make this your best night of the summer for the whole group. This is a fantastic way to enjoy the game, and it’s so easy. Pay upfront, show up to hot food ready for you, and enjoy everything a night at Toyota Field has to offer.

Single Suite

This suite comes with everything mentioned in the double suite but is that much more intimate! Single suites are perfect for groups of up to 20. The room is stunning and includes a slider door that opens to the most beautiful view of Toyota Field.

Enjoy the game that is broadcasted inside your room or head to the exterior balcony and watch it live. Stretch your legs and take a walk a few feet away over to the SportsMed Stadium Club and grab an additional bite to eat from the carving station or an adult beverage from the fully stocked bar which is only accessible to those in the top-level suite.

Personal opinion: My brain is swirling with ideas for enjoying a game this season with friends and family in the hospitality suites. All you need is an organizer, and that person could be you! As the organizer, you’ll receive all kinds of perks, such as a free parking pass, a first-pitch option, a group shout-out on the video screen, and much more.

This is an ideal way to not only watch baseball, but to socialize, make memories, and enjoy the company of family and friends in a comfortable, “move around the room” kind of way that isn’t available in regular stadium seats. Plus, everything is paid for upfront, so all you have to do is show up, scan your tickets, and grab some food from the complimentary buffet!
