All Things Madison officially turns a year old this Saturday, May 1st, and we aren’t letting the special occasion pass by without celebrating and marking a day that I wasn’t sure we’d ever make it to a year ago.
Sure enough, we are here and not going anywhere, folks!
Daily creating this online publication has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I have so many local businesses and community members to thank for that! You’ve supported this venture with every website visit, social media interaction, email newsletter open, and personal email, and I wish I could hug all of you and say thank you (I’m a hugger, so the pandemic has been a tough one for me in that regard – haha!)
All Things Madison Turns One!
To celebrate, my family and I will be heading to the back patio area of Old Black Bear in historic downtown Madison from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday. (If it rains we’ll be inside, but right now the forecast looks good!) We’ll be set up back there and can’t wait to hopefully see many of you!
We’ll be selling a limited number of All Things Madison Comfort Colors t-shirts in mustard color, and once they’re gone, they’re gone! We won’t be printing on this color again (we’ll roll out a new color next year!) Shirts will be $20 and can be purchased at the event.
We’ll also be raffling off a ton of Old Black Bear gift cards throughout the event, so show up early to put your name in the hat!
I can’t promise you the biggest birthday bash you’ve ever been to because, hey, this is a start-up after all (and there’s also a virus you may have heard of that’s still doing its pesky thing), but I promise to strive and make this event an easy place in drop-in, relax with friends and family, play along with Madison trivia (and win gift cards!) before you go about the rest of your day.
Trivia will take place around noon. Join us!
