It’s Fabulous Salon just opened a brand new location on Hughes Road and has completely flipped the second story into an expansive, stunning, trendy event space that is ready to be filled with celebrations of all kinds. Event Space in Madison, Alabama

No detail has been spared by co-owners Crystal Henry and Valerie Sease who have designed their event center to be anything but “just another venue”.

Sease shares that the vision for the event center stems from a deep desire to be a part of and support the community in ways that haven’t previously been available.

“We want to work with women’s shelters, host canned food drives, be a drop-off location for toys and donations during the holidays, and we want to partner with veteran-related causes,” shared Sease.

In addition to being a part of and giving back to the community, Henry says that this expansive space was designed to be perfectly functional for so many celebrations and occasions including:

baby showers
bridal showers
birthday parties for the young and young at heart
charcuterie, cookie, balloon, etc. classes
small weddings
rehearsal dinners
small wedding receptions
corporate meeting space
and so much more!

The It’s Fabulous event space requires a two-hour rental minimum and is priced at $150/hour Monday through Thursday and $200/hour Friday through Sunday.

Every rental comes with tables, chairs, white or black linens, a TV for slideshow purposes, and full use of the kitchen space (sink, prep area, etc.) A balloon arch structure is also available to be decorated with balloons and decor that you bring.

Reserving the space is easy! All interested renters have to do is send Henry a quick email with your interested date and time, and she will be in touch ASAP to confirm your reservation and have the space in tip top shape for you to have the best event!

It came as no surprise to me when Henry shared that she has a degree in interior design; Every square inch of the large space has been intentionally and thoughtful designed to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

When asked how the idea for the event space came to be, Henry shared that originally she was only looking for a new location to open her salon.

“When I came to tour the building, I was shocked to find out that there was an upstairs area,” shared Henry.

“I took one look at it and immediately knewed what I could do with it. I knew that Madison didn’t have anything like this and that I could bring it to life.”

And from there, the It’s Fabulous event space was born, and Henry and Sease both agree that it’s been thrilling to watch it all come to life. Though the space is now open with several bookings already on the calendar, Henry and Sease say that they have big dreams for what this space will still become.

“We will be partnering with businesses all across the area and look forward to developing an entire vendor list to share with those who would like it. We also can’t wait to have regular monthly events that provide fun opportunities for people across our community to come out to and enjoy together.”

Henry says that having the event space on top of their salon will be convenient for so many scenarios, including for men and women could want to have their hair done or even get a massage before their big event upstairs. The salon itself will also soon offer manicures, pedicures, facials, and much more.

The main level of It’s Fabulous Salon was also entirely flipped and is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Henry says that this salon caters to all hair types and is for both men and women.

“We are the type of salon that is for everybody’s hair. Those are the stylists we want and that we have, that are experienced in taking care of everyone.”
