Design Theory was founded by Sam Bryan of Built By Bryan custom homes, along with experienced interior designers Faeh Reese and Jamie Freeman, who built their careers helping homeowners create spaces that reflect their personal style. The design firm originally focused on residential design services, working with clients throughout Huntsville to plan interiors, choose finishes, and curate furniture. Over time, the designers realized clients loved the curated pieces they sourced for projects, and that growing demand eventually led to the opening of their brick-and-mortar storefront in The Village of Providence in 2025.
Today, the store merges interior design services with designer-curated furniture, home decor, and accessories, along with gift items, jewelry, and artwork.
