Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to town, this will be a short and sweet but worthwhile event. Here’s what you need to know to get the most out of your experience!

1. It’s completely free!

Celebrate Madison is totally free to attend, including parking (excluding any shopping you choose to do or food/drinks you opt to buy!) The gates open at 6 p.m. at Toyota Field on Thursday, October 24th, so mark your calendars and get there early because…

2. The first 300 attendees get free food!

The first 300 people through the gates will receive a free hot dog, soda, and ice cream! This is a great incentive to arrive early and snag your free goodies before exploring everything the event offers. Plus, the first 300 kids will get a pumpkin tote bag with goodies inside provided by businesses in the Madison Chamber Advocates Circle.

3. Shop the Madison Business Showcase!

Toyota Field’s concourse will feature approximately 40 awesome local businesses with tables you are invited to browse and mingle with before taking your seats for the formal presentations. Vendors will include a mix of retail, fitness, and nonprofit vendors.

Psst: Don’t miss the liquor tasting in a designated “21 and up” area where Black Patch Distillery will be on site offering tastings of a variety of liquor flavors!

4. Enjoy light-hearted fun for the whole family.

Celebrate Madison is a family-friendly event with a handful of activities for kids! Bring the whole crew and let the little ones enjoy character meet-and-greets with various favorites, courtesy of Fantasy Playhouse! You might even spot Sprocket roaming the concourse.

Kids will also love a fairy hair station with the Fairy Hair Sisters courtesy of Rocket City Mom and other fun surprises. There will be lots of photo opportunities and outdoor games to enjoy.

Plus, the Madison Chamber will be provided temporary tattoos, face painting, and coloring sheets.

One of the biggest highlights of Celebrate Madison is the chance to hear directly from Mayor Paul Finley. He’ll share an informative, upbeat message on Madison and where things are headed. If you love knowing what’s coming down the pipeline for our city, you won’t want to miss this opportunity! And to cap off the evening, stick around for a classic fireworks show that will light up the sky.
