On March 4th, 2020 I publicly announced my new business venture to launch a local niche website, email newsletter, and social media channels that would all deliver content about suburban Madison, Alabama. It would be called All Things Madison.
One week later, the world began shutting down, and I instantly regretted that I’d announced this business. I was ready to throw in the towel because I knew that I couldn’t make something like this work during a global pandemic.
But then I thought, “What if I COULD make it work? What if I could shift my content and use my work to help keep businesses alive and keep general morale up?”
So on with the show, we pushed. And my life has never been the same. While the road to building anything worthwhile is never easy, it has been so worth it. It has been the joy of my life to create content for All Things Madison and get to know hundreds of new people in the process and to be honest, WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED. 
My creative “gas tank” is fueled every day by followers like you that support this work, and I mean it when I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This week we celebrate All Things Madison’s second birthday, which is officially on May 1st (the day the website was unveiled!) Here’s to many more years of serving the city that I love. Thank you for sticking around!
