The All Things Madison Jingle Bell Rock Hunt is back for a second year, so get ready to grab your family and friends and play along in this community-wide, free, family-friendly event that culminates in potentially winning a large pot of cash just in time for the holidays!
What is the All Things Madison Jingle Bell Rock Hunt?
This event is basically a mini scavenger hunt where community members are invited to find two hidden rocks around town, each worth $500!
When is the rock hunt?
The JBRH will be held on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 with clues released at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. CST on Instagram.
Is everyone eligible to hunt for the rocks?
No. In order to hunt for the rocks on November 13th, interested participants must complete a JBRH punch card between Friday, November 5th and Friday, November 13th.
Where do I pick up a punch card?
Punch cards are available at each of our six participating sponsors’ businesses: Wine & Design, Burn Boot Camp, Altered Reality, Wood & Cloth Interiors, Capshaw Road Nutrition, and Vintage 72.
Do I have to collect punches from all six businesses in order to win the prize?
Yes. Only those with a completed punch card by the evening of November 12th will be eligible to find the rocks and win the prize money on November 13th.
How many clues will be released?
There is only going to be one clue per rock hunt. Clues will be posted on the All Things Madison Instagram page at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. CST.
What do I do if I find a rock?
If you find a rock, congratulations! Make sure you have your completed punch card with you when you go out hunting. Simply take a picture of your completed card and the rock in the same image and send it to the All Things Madison Instagram page inbox via a direct message.
How will we know if someone has already found the rock?
As soon as a winner has been verified, it will be posted on Instagram.
So eligible hunters can potentially find both rocks and win twice?
What if someone finds the rock who wasn’t eligible?
A make-up hunt will take place at 12 p.m. CST on Sunday, November 14th.

Step 1: Beginning on November 5th, visit any of the participating businesses and request a free punch card. Only 80 cards are available at each location, so don’t delay!
Step 2: Make note of the days and times that each business is open and then travel to each business to collect a free hole punch. No purchase necessary!
Step 3: Make sure you’ve collected all six hole punches by the end of the day on Friday, November 12th. No hole punches will be given out on the day of the hunt! Psst: Hole punches are unique shapes, so no funny business is allowed. 🙂
Step 4: Turn on notifications for All Things Madison on Instagram and then wait for the clues to be released at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Step 5: Grab your completed punch card and go hunt for the rock! Both rocks will be hidden within Madison City limits.
Step 6: Find a rock?! Send a picture of your completed punch card and the rock via a direct message to the All Things Madison Instagram page.
Step 7: If you win, celebrate and collect your winnings! If you didn’t find a rock, smile anyway and gear up to play again next year. 🙂
